Trials and Tribs of the start up Mompreneur

I have so many lists going on right now, I think I need a list for my lists. Good thing I actually enjoy tedium because I am drowning in it.

I think I have worn about 16 hats today including:

Realtor (looking for warehouse space),
Marketer (Finally got my Facebook group launched),
Client (Following up with my designer to see if we can finally get my business cards!),
Soccer Mom (My daughter started her soccer camp today … or as she says … “I’m going to soccer camping”) …
Peacekeeper (My son decided he was going to freak out every time the babysitter came near him)
Human chauffeur (We forgot to take the stroller out of the car last night so we walked to/from soccer camp today),
Sales Rep (I sold our back up double stroller on Craigslist this am),
Product Buyer (There is a lot of work involved in sourcing the best of the best products),
Accountant (Math isn`t my strong point but I need to know my numbers as my husband keeps telling me)
Blogger (No need for an explanation on this one :-),
Chef (This is a stretch considering the meal I put on the table for dinner tonight) …

Is that 16 yet?

I must say I am thoroughly enjoying this adventure though. I have already met some incredible people like one of my suppliers who offered to critique my logo possibilities and several fellow Mompreneurs who have been incredibly supportive.

I would be lying if I told you this wasn’t one of the scariest things I have ever done but I’m totally pumped for it. I think I`m in week number four now and while “launching this fall” seems far away, I still have a ton of things to do and learn before then. On that note …

Ciao,
Sue
P.S. My favorite “hat” today was being a Soccer Mom, hands down. I would love to coach her soccer team one of these years … I’ll just add that to one of my lists!
